Classic White with a Modern Edge

Crisp whites, marble movement, and soft gold accents — this Cumming kitchen remodel is a lesson in timeless sophistication. With a refreshed palette, new countertops, and layered lighting, this space now feels effortless and refined — the perfect mix of beauty and function.

Bright, Balanced, and Beautiful: A Kitchen Transformed

The original kitchen had great bones, but felt visually heavy with dark countertops and minimal contrast. While the layout worked well, the finishes and palette didn’t reflect the home’s airy, modern style. Our clients wanted a brighter, more timeless space that felt cohesive with the rest of their home — elegant yet welcoming, with a design that would stand the test of time.

The structure of the kitchen provided a great starting point for this remodel, with the existing cabinetry offering plenty of storage and architectural detail. However, the darker finishes and dated materials left the space feeling heavy and closed in. The new design focused on balance — introducing layered whites, warm brass accents, and beautifully veined quartz for an elevated, airy look. What truly transforms the space is the addition of in-cabinet and under-cabinet lighting. Paired with the new finishes and textures, the result is a luxurious yet welcoming kitchen.

We also introduced stacked cabinetry to draw the eye upward, making the kitchen feel taller and more spacious. The new upper cabinets not only add valuable storage but also bring visual balance to the room. To maintain the character of the original design, we mirrored the existing cabinet layout with glass-front doors at the center — keeping that classic focal point alive while giving it a fresh, refined update.

The range wall saw one of the most impactful transformations in the kitchen. The original arched hood, while detailed, felt heavy and dated, visually crowding the space. In the redesign, a custom built-in hood with clean, architectural lines replaced it, instantly modernizing the entire wall. Extending the quartz backsplash to the top of the range creates a seamless, high-end look, and the addition of a brass pot filler ties in beautifully with the new hardware throughout the kitchen. The result is a sophisticated focal point that feels both timeless and contemporary.

Light, Layered, and Luxe: The Ultimate Kitchen Refresh

The updated wet bar beautifully mirrors the transformation of the kitchen – crisp, bright, and timeless. One thoughtful design detail was concealing the wine storage within the middle cabinet. The client preferred not to have the wine bottles on display, so we integrated a hidden wine rack behind closed doors. This allowed us to maintain a clean, streamlined aesthetic while still providing practical storage. The result is a fresh, functional, and beautifully cohesive space that ties seamlessly into the newly renovated kitchen.

From the refreshed cabinetry to the soft marble veining and brass details, every element was chosen to create a kitchen that feels timeless, inviting, and full of light. The finished space perfectly reflects our clients’ vision — a home that’s as functional as it is beautiful.
