Roswell Kitchen Gets a Completely New Look

Understanding Quarter Round: A Guide for Kitchen Cabinet Refinishing

Roswell homeowners had been wanting to update their 30 year old kitchen since they moved in over 2 years ago. There were so many things that needed updating so they decided to take the plunge and completely gut the entire kitchen and start with a clean slate.

Originally old white painted cabinets with formica countertops, lack of backsplash, old appliances and above cabinet soffit, this kitchen was completely gutted and looks like a totally different kitchen.

  • Fully gutted, renovations include the following:
  • New Shaker style cabinets
  • Honed granite countertops
  • Zebra wood countertop
  • Peninsula cabinets extended
  • Top Knobs hardware
  • Custom pantry
  • Built-in Refrigerator
  • Soffit removal
  • New range and hood
  • White subway tile backsplash
  • Ceiling scrapped smooth
  • Recessed canned lighting
  • Walls, ceilings and trim freshly painted
  • New Laundry room doors
  • All new appliances

New Shaker style cabinets update this kitchen with its clean and simple design. The honed granite and zebra wood countertops contrast beautifully against the white cabinets.

The peninsula cabinets were extended creating additional countertop and storage space. Large drawers, double garbage pullout and corner cabinet replaces the 3 door/drawer cabinets. New Top Knobs cabinetry hardware adds flair as it is the “Jewelry” of the cabinets.

New Custom Pantry replaces the pantry closet opening up the kitchen and allowing for a more efficient use of space and organization.

Built-in refrigerator with new Shaker cabinets offer additional cabinet space. The Soffit removal above the cabinets also increased the storage significantly.

New range with stainless steel hood replaces where microwave once was. Soffit removed above cabinets creating much more cabinet space. White subway tile backsplash was added where there was only the back wall.

The ceiling was scrapped to a smooth finish and painted as well as all the trim and walls. New recessed canned lighting replaces the outdated fluorescent lights.

New Hardwood flooring replaces the laminate flooring and the kitchen got all new appliances.

These homeowners are so thrilled with their brand new kitchen. A complete transformation, this kitchen now reflects an updated, fresh and simple space that these homeowners can enjoy for years to come!
