Crooked Creek Kitchen Gets Full Makeover

Understanding Quarter Round: A Guide for Kitchen Cabinet Refinishing

The homeowners of this beautiful home in the Crooked Creek subdivision in Milton decided to take the plunge and completely gut their kitchen and start brand new.

The full kitchen redesign includes the following:

  • All new cabinets
  • Quartzite countertops on Island
  • Honed Granite countertops on perimeter
  • Custom built Butlers Pantry off of kitchen
  • Mother of Pearl and subway tile backsplash
  • All new stainless steel appliances
  • All new lighting
  • New barstools
  • Rev-a-Shelf storage organizers and pullouts
  • Hardwood floors patched after Island footprint changed
  • New breakfast/buffet area with fridge, sink and double pantry
  • Top Knobs hardware

Removing the desk allowed for a double pantry – creating a much better use of space

  1. Completely rebuilding the Island increased countertop space as well as housing a microwave drawer and pullouts for better use of space.
  2. Removing the under-used wine rack allows for additional cabinet storage and a more efficient use of space.
The beautiful countertop on the Island is Bianco Macaubas Quartzite and perimeter is Steel Gray honed granite.
  3. A new custom built butlers pantry off the kitchen serves as a perfect beverage area. Top Knobs cup pulls compliment the finish beautifully.

This kitchen now reflects an updated, clean and fresh look that will surely stand the test of time!

From dark maple to white, clean lines and bright, the homeowners could not be happier with their brand new kitchen!
